Bias Audit Documentation

How AI-generated course content is reviewed by humans before it reaches learners — and our commitment to independent external auditing.

Version: 1.0.0 Effective: April 23, 2026 Self-Audit: Completed April 2026

Content Authorship Model

AESOP AI Academy course content is generated by the patent-pending AESOP Engine and reviewed by our editorial team before publication. No AI-generated content reaches learners without mandatory human review — this is enforced as a technical constraint in our publishing workflow, not just a policy goal.

Human Oversight Guarantee No AI-generated content is published to learners without at least one stage of human review.

Advisory Board Oversight

The AESOP Advisory Board reviews curriculum content for accuracy, relevance, and appropriate representation. Board member profiles and credentials are published at aesopacademy.org/about/advisory-board.

Reporting Issues

Educators, learners, and procurement staff may report content concerns at any time. We will review and respond to all reports.

Report a Content Issue Email curriculum@aesopacademy.org. We will acknowledge all reports within 5 business days.

Our Commitment

Bias auditing is not a compliance checkbox for AESOP — it is core to our mission. We teach AI literacy, which necessarily includes teaching learners to identify and critique bias in AI systems. We cannot do that credibly unless our own content models the same rigor we ask learners to apply.

We commit to publishing the results of our first independent external audit when it is complete (Q3 2026) and to annual transparency reporting thereafter.
